A word about the work
Nicolas Falquet, Ushguli, Georgia, 2015.
Certainly the most dangerous mountains I had the chance to photograph. Ushguli is a small village in Svanetia, Georgia, blocked by snow all winter long. Only the most adventurous drivers can drive in a small mountain village. The highest in Europe. The number of skiers who have descended these mountains are certainly counted on the 10 fingers. After 5 days of storms and a few hours of hiking, Nicolas can finally taste the powdery Georgian. An immaculate white and grazing lights, the perfect combo for any self-respecting skier.
