Diagonale des fous, 2015, Ile de la Réunion.
The Diagonale des Fous is a mythical race and it is also the first ultra-trail I photographed in 2013.
This ridge path, in the Mafate Circus, is called the Scout Trail. I had spotted it on a map, but I dared not hope that all the conditions were assembled for this picture : the angle, the runner alone and the clouds which wait a few minutes before covering everything.
