Ice arches wedged between two cliffs, these ephemeral beauties probably no longer exist. It’s these unique moments that make skiing a beautiful sport. We were there at the right time, left of a distant glacier, these arches were all beautiful as much as intimidating. Once engaged in the hallway it was a question of not hanging around for fear of taking these piles of giant ice on the head.
